It is really about educating and making people aware that the relationship between humans and our planet is more than just development.

Three pillars which in the long run, none can exist without the others
Environment – environmental sustainability occurs when long-term environmental practices are put in place
Social – social sustainability is a better quality of life for all members of society
Economic – economic development combined with sustainable systems, bringing growth without damage

4. Why choose?
We all need to develop ways to ensure that all resources on Earth are used responsibly so they can be maintained for future generations.
Sustainable patterns of living meet the needs of the current generations without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.

8. Activity: In a perfect world
In partners or by yourself, you are to create your very own sustainable suburb. You are to write your suburb up on either Word (and to me) or on paper (and hand it in at the end of the lesson)
