He was born September 6th, 1766 in Eaglesfield in Cumberland.
He died on July 27th, 1844.
He was a chemist and physicist

3. ATOMIC THEORY John Dalton made an impact on the world as we know it.
According to Dalton, an element is composed of only one kind of atom, and a compound is composed of particles that are chemical combinations of different kinds of atoms.

4. Dalton’s FOUR part atomic theory
1) All elements are composed of tiny indivisible particles called atoms.
2) Atoms of the same element are identical.
3) Atoms of different elements can physically mix together or can chemically combine.
4) Chemical reactions occur when atoms are separated, joined, or rearranged.
