Reduced army War-guilt clause Reparations Lost territory Was the League of Nations written in? Yes When was the treaty signed? June 18th, 1919 (war began in 1914)

4 Ratifying the treaty in U.S.
**Remember: in matters of foreign relations (like treaties) the Senate must approve w/ 2/3rds vote** Who were reservationists? Would vote for treaty but wanted amendments Wanted to change part of League of Nations agreement that would obligate U.S. to support other countries Who were irreconcilables? Would not vote for treaty if it had anything to do w/ League of Nations Who were internationalists? In favor of treaty & in full support of League of Nations Does the treaty get ratified? No Separate treaty was signed in 1921 & U.S. did not join League of Nations
