1 Green Means Go Force and Motion

2 Web 2.0 Tool- Graphining/Creativity
When it comes to “Force and Motion” students will have to be able to produce new, diverse and unique idea for understanding how to make Eco-friendly cars that go fast. They will in fact look at things from a different perspective and not be restricted by rules, customs, or norms. By building a car students will have to calculate the average speed of their car and place the information on a graph. The graph will not only show their averages but the other students averages as well.

3 Which Graphing tool? Using CreateaGraph students will be able to:
Formulate a line and bar graph, along with a pie chart.

4 How can we help manage our earth by creating fast eco-friendly cars?
Driving Question How can we help manage our earth by creating fast eco-friendly cars?

5 Science TekS: SCI.6.8A Compare and contrast potential and kinetic energy. SCI.6.8B Identify and describe the changes in position, direction, and speed of an object when acted upon by unbalanced forces. SCI.6.8C Calculate average speed using distance and time measurements. SCI.6.8D Measure and graph changes in motion.

6 Cross Curriculum Students will be able to use this tool in various ways: Math-Calculating Speed History-Understanding the structure of Eco- Friendly cars time line English- Creative writing skills-explaining the structures of the cars Arts- Designing models

7 Model It:

8 Tutorials? 1st Select what type of graph you will display

9 2nd: Name your graph and set your X and Y coordinates
2nd: Name your graph and set your X and Y coordinates. All graphs will start with 0 and go as far as they need to. For example my graph is set to go from on both the x and y axis

10 3rd: Make sure your Data set and groups are set
3rd: Make sure your Data set and groups are set. For example since I have 7 items, and I only have one group.

11 4th: Enter the times. Enter the Y- axis coordinates along with the Min- and Max value and the graph will generate.

12 5th: label the graph

13 6th: Click the Preview tab and make sure that the coordinates match your data

14 Finally: Print out your graph
