Directions: Rewrite the sentences listed below on a piece of notebook paper, and insert a comma and/or semicolon, where needed. Identify the rule in the margin. Teachers don’t understand how much pressure students experience at school furthermore it is never discussed in any of my classes. Mary read my paper but she didn’t agree with my thesis. To stay in shape you should exercise daily. I am thankful for my family my friends my life and my pets. The insect a large cockroach with hairy legs crawled across the kitchen table. We had too many fumbles we lost the game.
