Statement of Inquiry - Everything inevitably decays and many artists are fascinated by the effect of time and weather on people. objects and surfaces. In their work they attempt to capture some of this process and present it for contemplation.
KUDs
Know – how certain artists choose to focus on the effects of time, on ourselves, objects and places
Understand – that works of art are things to ‘think at’ and that time is certainly something that impacts us all.
Do – produce a number of observation drawings and paintings. Investigate and make connections with the work of artists, produce an individual response to the unit title.
