2 Definition: Idiom is a word or a group of words that has a figurative meaning and does not pertain to the literal meaning.

3 Examples of Idiom Example: “Is your Basketball game tomorrow? Break a leg!” Definition: Break a leg is wishing someone good luck

4 Examples of Idiom Example: “We are in a hurry. Double time everyone!”
Definition: Double time is to speed up or to move faster.
