Comparison and Contextualization Comparison You have probably always thought of this as Compare and Contrast – but realize that you are always being asked to do both, even if only asked to Compare How are historical developments, processes, societies (or within 1 society) the same or different across time? Contextualization The ability to connect historical developments from very specific to much more broad Big to Small; Small to Big How does it fit in the Big Picture?

Mostly SAT type of questions that call for reading then analyzing, then answering questions 4 Choices No Guessing Penalty…Answer them All!!!

10 minutes to read and analyze before you write An average of 40 minutes per essay to write Use the time as you want and Do them in any order you want
