New England-village and church was the center of life Middle-Different religions and lifestyles Southern-Plantations, mansions, indentured servants Few towns and cities Few schools

3 What was the government in each region like?
New England-town meetings Middle-market towns Colonists would meet and discuss issues Southern-counties Spread out and rural; few cities or towns

4 People of the Regions Large landowners Farmers Mostly in the South
Relied on indentured servants and slave labor Rich social culture Farmers Family worked the land Worked the land according to the region
