What is a computer system? Define a computer system Teacher lead activity Ask your students to complete an activity either by asking each other, drawing on desks, snowballs – however you want to do it. Get them up out of their seats and discussing it.

Get the students to draw a diagram of a computer system. It doesn’t matter what it is, you want to judge what they think a computer system is made up of. The next slide will show you what a computer system actually looks like.

DO NOT HAVE THE STUDENTS WORKING ALL LESSON WITHOUT INTERUPTING. ENSURE THAT THERE IS PACE IN THE LESSON. MAKE SURE TO STOP AND RECAP – EVEN BREAK UP THE LESSON WITH PAPER TOSSING / A WASHING LINE ACROSS THE CLASS FOR PEOPLE TO HOLD UP WORK FROM GOOD TO BAD….
