2. Concluding Paragraph
The goal of a conclusion is make the reader continue contemplating the essay after finishing reading it.
To do this, a conclusion must:
Restate your thesis
Sum up your main points

3. Concluding Paragraph
A helpful hint: try the “circle technique.” Writers using this method end their papers with the same or similar thoughts they began the paper with (their attention getter).

4. NEVER Add new information in your conclusion.
If it wasn’t important enough to say in the body of your paper, don’t say it in your conclusion!

5. For our Shrek example
Clearly, Shrek from the DreamWorks film Shrek is an epic hero. He risks his life fighting dangerous monsters just to save Princess Fiona. Through his entire journey, he stays true to himself.
