The type of writing I would choose to write is fiction. In my opinion I think it is easier to read fiction books rather than non-fiction books, so I would rather write fiction books.

The average salary is around $50,837 per year. In 2006, the median annual earnings of salaried writers and authors was $48,640.

4. Educational or special training requirements
A college degree is required. Some employers prefer those of Bachelor of Arts in English. Others look for broad background in the liberal arts.

Hollins University, Goddard College, Hamilton College, and Pine Manor College. They are some schools that offer educational requirements for a writer.

6. Special qualities and abilities needed for someone to do the job well
You need to be able to communicate, knowledge on grammar, spelling, and punctuation. You also need the power of observation.

A well-known author is William Shakespeare. He is probably the all time best writer so far. He's widely regarded ad the greatest writer in English language. If you estimate all the copies he had sold, it rounds to around 4 billion.

8. My reaction to what I have learned
I've learned that it takes a while to make a book. But my reaction has changed, I don’t really like the thought of being an author when I get older.
