1. Peer Editing and Review
Please read your partner’s paper once without writing any comments.
Now, you will read the paper again, looking at it closely for mechanical errors—circle anything that looks or feels wrong with the spelling, grammar, etc.
Now, read each paragraph separately. After each paragraph, write down one thing that you liked about each paragraph and one thing that needs clarification or improvement.

2. Besides proofreading, please do the following:
Introduction: Does the writer make clear the specific topic of the paper?
Body Paragraphs: Check the first sentence: Is it about the topic? Is it interesting? Is it too vague?
Body Paragraphs: Do the body paragraphs help to prove the point that the writer is attempting to make? Are specifics from the texts and interview utilized to prove the writer’s point?
Conclusion: Does the writer end the paper by summing up the body of the paper, and still manage to do so in a way that avoids being repetitive?
