1 My relationship to the capacities of this program
Where am I beginning?

2 DEVELOP a disposition of inquiry and critical reflection to understand and develop your practice.
Excited Formality Finding Time I am excited about using inquiry to develop my teaching and support my students. I am excited to put some formality to the many questions I seem to have. Finding time to reflect critically rather than just blowing off steam/talking out the day might be difficult on top of all the other things we do.

3 If I’m excited then that is often seen in my students as well.
THRIVE amidst the opportunities and challenges brought about by traditional and emerging ways of thinking in a changing educational context. Excited Interested students Too many Not in isolation I love a challenge and often am at my best when faced with challenges and new opportunities. Trying new things keeps me interested in and excited about my job. If I’m excited then that is often seen in my students as well. When too many new things are introduced at the same time it can be difficult to do anything/everything well.

4 COLLABORATE purposefully with students, colleagues, parents and other educational partners.
Part of the day Branch out Students Collaboration with colleagues is very important, especially in a small school. It is a regular part of my day. I would love the chance to collaborate with teachers from other schools in order to gain different perspectives. Collaboration with students and parents is a new concept for me that I would love to learn more about.

5 Often the less able or more challenging students are supported.
EXPLORE, DEVELOP, and IMPLEMENT teaching and assessment practices to support the learning of all students. Differentiation Less able More able Self Assessment Always felt the importance of supporting all students. Differentiation is key in the classroom. Often the less able or more challenging students are supported. The more able students are often left alone – why? Would like to look into students self assessing.

6 I am willing to try new things but need to feel supported.
ENGAGE in innovative practice, encourage risk-taking and support learning communities in local and global contexts. Take risks Get support Global learning I feel that I am working hard to take risks within my teaching. E.g. use of technology, different teaching strategies. I am willing to try new things but need to feel supported. I haven’t done much with regard to learning communities in a global context and I’m not sure where to start with that.

7 Co-learning? Need to know more about what this means.
SITUATE the student at the centre in co-learning, co-planning, and co-teaching pedagogical pathways. Mentorship Share Exciting Co-leaning? As a mentor within my school I have been able to co-plan and co-teach with a number of different colleagues. Sharing ideas with others and merging them together to get to a finished product can be very exciting and always beneficial to the students. Co-learning? Need to know more about what this means.
