Subjects taught in English The biggest challenge for the students was that subjects are taught in English. This caused a lot of stress at the beginning as they found it difficult to understand the subjects in different language. This theme was mentioned by 10 interviewed students. “It was very challenging for me to study in English, because in my school we studied in Kazakh;” (S2)
