2 Personality and Stress

3 Personality: Personality is a product of culture to do different things in different situations.

4 Personality Different sorts of personalities and individuals are created by a society to do a whole array of things needed by society for smooth operations.

5 Stress Stress is a situation where there are demands on a person. e.g. social demands, organizational demands, situational demands etc.

6 Stress At times there is so much demand on the person/on the individual to do few things and the person is not capable enough to do that thing in that situation it occurs that the person starts feeling pressure. If this pressure prolongs it may tranform into stress.

7 Types of Stress Positive Stress Negative Stress

8 Types of Stress Positive Stress:
If a stress is doing something positive on you, it is called positive stress or U stress.

9 Types of Stress Negative Stress:
If the stress is too much and your personality is unable to cope with that thing because you could not do what was asked for; then that stress will have negative performance.

10 There is a dynamic relationship between stress and personality.

11 Stress emerges out of expectations.

12 You should always make realistic expectations from yourself.

13 The greater the capacity of an individual to perform, greater the confidence of a person to perform, lesser are the chances of stress.

16 Self Perception Self perception is the picture you hold about yourself.

17 Self awareness Knowing your self is self awareness.

18 Self worth You should know your own worth and value of your work. It is marketing of your self as well as your capabilities.

19 Self love You should appreciate your self and your personality.

20 Self Esteem Accepting mistakes will enhance your self esteem.

21 Self Respect Emotions is a respectable Energy and psychological force. Be emotional and passionate about work and towards human reactions. We should have the ability to show emotions as they show the strength of relations with others. If we are unable to show our emotions we would be facing difficulty to work, using this energy to get work done.

23 Self Confidence Self confidence is the totality of your personality.
It is the force which make you do things successfully.
