2 How to write a series of paragraphs
1. Introduction A) contains a thesis (states your topic and opinion) >Iron Man is the most powerful superhero because he has access to technology and he uses his intelligence. B) Creates interest and gives explanation of your ideas 2. Three middle paragraphs: Contain a topic sentence provide specific facts and details to support the thesis Contain a concluding statement that reminds the reader of what was proven in the paragraph Conclusion: Restates the thesis Explains how he thesis was proven Tips A) Use transition words such as secondly, in addition, also How to write a series of paragraphs

5 Annotation: A clear and consistent opinion is developed with sufficient specific supporting details that are thoughtfully chosen (movie, out to dinner with a friend, certain type of clothing, a more expensive brand). The organization is coherent, demonstrating a thoughtful progression of ideas in each paragraph and in written work as a whole, with each paragraph building on the preceding one.
