10. Provision Mapping
Effective provision mapping is an ongoing process which enables the school or setting to identify and meet the needs of each individual pupil in a constantly developing situation.
It is a process of raising standards of attainment and achievement by ensuring that we:
Know how well pupils are doing compared with their peers and against national standards
Know what works to prevent underachievement in whole class contexts, at group and individual level
Identify the potential barriers to learning for each pupil
Know what else we need to do, both now and in the future, to meet the needs of identified pupils and prevent underachievement
