4 Impact Measure 2 AFA targets are integrated fully in lesson planning.
PL knowledge and understanding of AfA data and actions taken as a result Consistent use whole school policy for lesson planning that references AfA targets Work being specifically planned to meet needs of all pupils Pupils know targets and when they have achieved them Pupils engaged and enjoy learning Progress demonstrated in all lessons

5 Evidence to collect School lesson planning policy
Samples of lesson plans, especially examples of good inclusive/differentiated lessons Medium term planning Provision map Intervention records Examples of targets and processes to ensure challenge and rigour Examples of AfA action plans and/or IEPs School analysis of AfA data

6 Evidence cont.... School analysis of progress- comparisons with non-AfA and non- SEND pupils Tracking sheets Ofsted reports SIP/ review feedback from lesson observations Evidence of schools asking pupils about their targets Attendance/ PA rates Behaviour incidences Examples of pupils' work – over term/ year – to evidence progress over time

7 Impact Measure 4 AfA schools implement and monitor wider outcomes for all vulnerable children. The school keeps a record of take up of extra curricular activities by AfA pupils. There is evidence of developments / actions taken as a result of feedback from AfA pupils /parents during structured conversations. Opportunities for developing wider outcomes are driven by pupil interest. Improvements in behaviour for learning are recorded by the school. There is evidence that improved wider outcomes are impacting on pupil attainment and progress.

8 Evidence to collect Audit of participation of AfA pupils
Pupil and parent questionnaires Case studies of impact particular activities Examples of AfA action plans that show parent involvement in decisions around wider outcomes Attendance/PA rates Behaviour incidences

9 Evidence cont.... Films of students talking about school and AfA

10 Provision Mapping Effective provision mapping is an ongoing process which enables the school or setting to identify and meet the needs of each individual pupil in a constantly developing situation. It is a process of raising standards of attainment and achievement by ensuring that we: Know how well pupils are doing compared with their peers and against national standards Know what works to prevent underachievement in whole class contexts, at group and individual level Identify the potential barriers to learning for each pupil Know what else we need to do, both now and in the future, to meet the needs of identified pupils and prevent underachievement

11 There are 5 steps to effective provision mapping:
Step 1: Analyse and evaluate Step 2: Agree priorities Step 3: Set objectives Step 4: Focus actions Step 5: Measure and evaluate impact *see attached document for further info
