2 In Spanish, just as in English, we often associate things with the containers amounts in which they come. Una bolsade papas fritas. A bagof potato chips. Un rollode papel higiénico. A rollof toilet paper. Un parde zapatos. A pairof shoes. Un ramode flores. A bouquetof flowers.

3 A container may be vacío (empty), lleno (full), medio vacío (half empty), or medio lleno (half full). Una botella media vacía. A half empty bottle. El vaso está medio lleno. The glass is half full. Tucker está lleno de…cacahuates. Tucker is full of…peanuts.

4 De is used before a noun to indicate what something is made of. Tengo un plato de vidrio. A have a plate (made) of glass. La chaqueta es de piel. The jacket is (made) of skin.
