1 PROSPECTIVITY OF ACREAGE

2 Combined Southern Basin and South Coast Marine Area

3 CENTRAL RANGE BLOCK

4 CENTRAL RANGE BLOCK PROSPECTIVITY
Shallow Licence Surface to Base late Oligocene/early Miocene (Nariva sand) Turbidites and fans encased in calcareous clays Existing fields– Tabaquite, Guapo, Brighton Only shallowest thrust slice of imbricate system penetrated The nariva’s get younger to the west Say existing fields are old producers- productive since the 1950’s

5 CENTRAL RANGE BLOCK PROSPECTIVITY
Deep Licence Cretaceous to Oligocene Turbidites and fans in calcareous clays Continuation of Angostura Play Trend to onshore. Possible early Cretaceous/late Jurassic shallow water deposits Eocene/Early Oligocene onshore sands have similar characteristics to the hydrocarbon bearing Angostura play.

6 CENTRAL RANGE BLOCK PROSPECTIVITY
Deep Licence Working Cretaceous-Nariva petroleum system. Cretaceous Deep Marine Clastics Play: very thick sandstone interbedded with shales. Miocene Herrera Play Trends:3D imaging likely to resolve complicated structures (i.e. Corasan/Baraka). Plio-Pleistocene Play Trend Mature play, but 3d imaging may yield new stratigraphic traps.

7 HERRERA BLOCK

8 HERRERA BLOCK PROSPECTIVITY
Shallow Licence Surface to base of mid-Miocene Turbidites, fans, deltaic and fluvial deposits Proved potential in Southern Basin Deep Licence top early-Miocene and Oligocene to Cretaceous/Jurassic Deep water deposits

9 SOUTH WEST PENINSULA BLOCK

10 SOUTHWEST PENINSULA PROSPECTIVITY
Shallow Surface to base late Miocene Pliocene and Pleistocene deltas with thick sand reservoirs Part of the Columbus Basin gas province Proven potential with approximately 1 billion barrels of oil production from small portion of acreage Extension of the Pedernales Anticline, Venezuela Still not included: History of onshore SWP

11 GUAYAGUAYARE BLOCK

12 GUAYAGUAYARE BLOCK PROSPECTIVITY
Shallow Licence Surface to depth of 5000’ Pleistocene and Pliocene shelfal deposits Proven potential (production from old fields of approx. 100mmbo) Acreage straddles Columbus Basin gas province Probable resources: Oil mmbo Gas – 1155 tcf Carambola 1 – 90 bcf gas.

13 SHALLOW MARINE ACREAGE

14 NORTH COAST MARINE AREA 2

15 NORTH COAST MARINE AREA 2
History 2D seismic Km distributed in 17 lines. 3D seismic Km2. Sedimentary section includes channel fill deposits and a combination of beach and barrier sands. Producing gas reservoirs in Chaconia and Hibiscus Fields. Gas reservoirs in Chaconia and Hibiscus fields

16 HIGH AMPLITUDE ANOMALIES
NCO3002 SEISMIC LINE HIGH AMPLITUDE ANOMALIES SW NE The high amplitude anomalies enclosed corresponds with transverse section of the next leads: Channel (3259 msec), 3350 msec and 3370 msec. in NCO3012 seismic line in color. The yellow, orange an red color represents maximum negative amplitude and blue color represents maximum positive amplitude. In red line we can see the position of this line on the map. Channel 2550 3350 3370 3150

17 NORTH COAST MARINE AREA 3

18 NORTH COAST MARINE AREA 3
1980- Western Geophysical Company acquired seismic data, which showed several high amplitude anomalies. The area is complexly faulted, therefore hydrocarbon accumulations are likely to be fault controlled. The sedimentary section includes 20,000 ft. of Tertiary and Quaternary clastics which overlay Upper Jurassic and Lower Cretaceous low grade metamorphic rocks. Gas production in east Trinidad is associated with the same type of faulting.

19 BLOCK 2ab

20 BLOCK 2ab Continuation of the Nariva Fold and thrust belt which was successfully explored. Prolific Angostura sands encountered in 2 wells drilled. Prospective for oil and gas. Spitfire and Crapaud.

21 TRINIDAD & TOBAGO DEEP ATLANTIC AREA

22 TRINIDAD & TOBAGO DEEP ATLANTIC AREA
History Large structures mapped. UDW province has generated and expelled hydrocarbons - viable working source system. Piston core data confirm the presence of thermogenic gas and oil. Geochemistry of samples similar to Trinidad Cretaceous oil source.

23 Columbus basin play 2 Lwr Pliocene – Miocene Deep Play
Stratigraphic Character of Ultra Deep Province Miocene Pliocene Columbus basin play 1 Pliocene – Pleistocene deltaic listric rollover traps Ultra deep water area abyssal plain sediments in tip thrust folds of accretionary prism Columbus basin play Lwr Pliocene – Miocene Deep Play Chacalacca, Ibis Deep Pleistocene Deep Water area - Tested but no success in shallow section (Pleistocene). However there may be significant deep Prespectivity
