Think about a fiction novel that you have read recently that you really enjoyed. Please explain what type of “fiction” novel it is, and what the novel was about. Be sure you include information about the stories major conflict and characters.

Realistic fiction
A made up story that could have really happened.
Fantasy
A made up story about magic and/or supernatural forms.
Example: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

A made up story that is set in the past and includes facts about past events, places or people.
Example: Number the Stars
Mystery
A made up story in which the main character uses clues to solve a case.

Fable
A fictional story that makes a moral point; uses animal characters.
