2. MEETING PURPOSE
Thank you for joining us and participating in this community discussion. The purpose of this meeting is to provide information on the service changes that will take effect on Monday, May 6, Public comment meetings were held on January 17 & 24.

3. MEETING FORMAT
Be considerate of meeting attendees and COTA staff. Please silence cell phones and other technology. Participants are encouraged to complete comment cards. Please print clearly. Following the presentation, staff will be available at each table to take your comments or feedback.

4. SERVICE CHANGE SCHEDULE
COTA modifies service three times per year – the first Monday of:

Goal: Improve on-time performance by adjusting scheduled stop arrival and departure times on the following bus lines:

8. Zoo bus 2019
Goal: Provide direct and convenient bus service between Columbus Zoo & Aquarium and Downtown Columbus for visitors and workers.
Saturday, May 11: Weekend-only service begins
Monday, May 27 (Memorial Day): first weekday of service operates on Holiday/Sunday schedule
Tuesday, May 28 through Monday, Sept. 2 (Labor Day): Operates 7 days a week
Operates Holiday/Sunday schedule on Memorial Day, July 4th, & Labor Day 8

10. What is a Limited Stop bus line?
Line Renamed: 2L changed to 102 Polaris pkwy/ n. high
Goal: Reduce confusion between Line 2 and Line 2L and help riders better understand the nature of Limited Stop bus lines.
Beginning May 6th: “Line 2L N. High/Polaris Pkwy” will be renamed “Line 102 Polaris Pkwy/ N. High”
What is a Limited Stop bus line?
Limited stop bus lines skip stops for faster service. Only select stops shown on the schedule brochure are served. CMAX and Line 102 (formerly 2L) are COTA’s limited stop bus lines. 10

12. Changed end of line downtown: CMAX & Line 7
Goal: Change end of line for Line 7 and CMAX as result of new Mound Street streetscape in downtown Columbus.
New downtown routing:
Regular route to eastbound on E. Main Street
Turn Right on S. 5th Street (instead of Grant Avenue)
Turn Right on E. Mound Street
End of Line: E. Mound at S. 4th Street (across the street from Columbus Downtown High School) 12

Goal: Maintain service to southeast Grandview Heights during construction on Bobcat Avenue in Grandview Yard. Temporary Line 22 route:
South on Bobcat Avenue
Right on W. 1st Avenue
Left on Northwest Boulevard
End of Line at new stop on Northwest at 1st Avenue
Continue on Northwest Boulevard, then left on Williams Avenue
Left on Bobcat Avenue, continue north to existing route
Southern two stops closed during construction to everything 15

16. Long-term end of line: LINE 22 in Grandview yard
Goal: Keep convenient transit service to Grandview Yard while being good neighbors to area residents. New Line 22 route expected to begin on May 6th:

Continue south on Rail Street
Right on Goodale Boulevard
Right on Bobcat Street and continue north over existing route

Past Proposal: Combine unproductive early A.M. & P.M. trips on Line 43 Westerville due to low ridership.
Outcome: COTA will not combine trips on Line 43. New data shows Line 43 ridership is beginning to increase. 23

Goal:
Return Long & High stop to southwest corner upon completion of construction project on that corner.
