Tundra Biome Made by : Sarah and Haneen Year - 8

Firstly: What countries of Asia have this biome ? There is only one country that this biome excit in wich is:

➔ It’s In the northern hemisphere and exactly in the northeastern part of Russia between 60 to 80 degrees latitude and 70 to 180 degrees longitude. Secondly :

Thirdly: What’s the climate in these regions ? ➢ It’s climate is coldy, Windy, and Rainfall. Tundra’s land are mostly covered with snow almost all the year. But in summer it bursts out wildflowers on it’s land. Coldy Windy Rainfall

Fourthly : What is the physical geography of Tundra ? In physical geography, tundra is a type of biome where the tree growth is hindered by low temperatures and short growing seasons.physical geographybiome

Fifthly: an explanation of the geographical factors that lead to the formation of these regions in Asia. ❏ The presence of permafrost holds back the downwards of water through the soil, and then it holds the lowland of the tundra and it becomes saturated and boggy during the summer thaw. ❏ During the winter season water in the soil can freeze into a lense of ice that causes the ground above it to form a hilly structure called a pingo.

Sixthly: 1. Snow owls 2. Mountain goats. 3. Polar bear 4. reindeer Types of animals found in Tundra ?

Seventhly: ●People don’t live in the Tundra. Due to it’s severe weather. So there's no humans living their. There are approximately 5 million of different types of species of animals.many of them are known to reside in this type of climate. What’s the population groups living there ?
