that the technology is BAT for my sector? that my investment risk is minimal? that the technology is reliable for my process and my specific emission situation? that my supplier is reliable

e.g.1 air abatement technology might be verified for solvent removal, but not for odour treatment e.g. 2 a technology might be verified for supplier A but not for supplier B

13 The way to a successful European ETV system = reconciling needs of technology users and technology suppliers Report and communicate in an open and clear way on verified technologies for well-defined applications Verification results of ETV labeled technologies should be by definition public Well-defined guidelines for proper use of the ETV logo are crucial for market acceptability of the system (for suppliers and users) Clear positioning of ETV versus BAT and certification bodies is needed
