2. Introduction
The idea of a park for Royal Oak/Rocky Ridge began in 2013
The land for a community park has been secured for use by the Community Association.
The Community Association has determined from surveys, that the most highly rated facility is an outdoor rink. Outdoor rinks are a community social focal point.
The plan for the community park has now been expanded to include other family uses and multi-generational facilities.
The new plan also includes a “hub” for a range of community events.

Continue to get public input
Detailed Design and Engineering plans
Complete City requirements and technical review
Apply for Development Permit/Servicing Permits

11. Goals: Submit for permits February 2016 Tender in spring
Start Construction in summer, 2016
Plan a grand opening celebration
