5 lure A body part that hangs from the front spine of a frogfish to draw prey close enough to eat. The frogfish lure is shaped like a worm, shrimp, or small fish.

6 prey An animal that is hunted by another animal for food.

7 scales Small hard plates that cover the bodies of many fish; some frogfish have scales and others do not.

8 spine A hard, sharp part on an animal or plant.
