Our mission is to defend managed and native pollinators vital to a sustainable and affordable food supply from the adverse impact of pesticides. Raise awareness about the adverse impact of pesticides on pollinators critical to the supply of food and the ecosystem. Provide advocacy, guidance, and tools to document the detrimental effect of pesticides on pollinators.  Affect regulatory processes of pesticide risk assessment, label, and enforcement. Education - Advocacy - Action

Advocacy & Education Assisted our members and stakeholders with interactions with local policy makers concerning pesticides. Provided direct education about beekeeping association management and nonprofits to seven beekeeping state and local member groups. Program Director served on the PPDC MP3 Metrics sub-workgroup determining the evaluation metrics for State Pollinator Plans. Worked with journalists connecting them to individual beekeepers, state beekeeping leaders, and to convey the concerns of beekeepers for the health of their honey bees. Education - Advocacy - Action
