3. Printing from Chromebooks
Students are only able to print from their Chromebooks at this time
Students will need to deposit a minimum of $1 to set up a printing account

4. Attention 9th Grade Students
Please be sure to charge your Chromebook over night so that you will be ready for classes the next day

5. Gay Straight Alliance
The Gay – Straight Alliance will meet on Fridays from 3:30-4:30 in room 219

6. Florida A&M University (FAMU) College Tour
The FAMU Atlanta Alumni Chapter is sponsoring a Spring Preview College Tour to FAMU on Friday March 29th – March 30th
The cost of the tour is $150 which includes transportation, hotel, and most meals
Information on this tour can be found in the counseling office

7. Environmental Club
The Environmental Club is conducting an Earth Day project with emphasis on Plastic Recycling in Henry County
The Club is asking students to make donations to 4Ocean.com for ocean clean-up
Donations are $20. Proof of donations are required
The homeroom with the most donations will win a pizza party

Donation period is from March 22nd to April 22nd

8. National Honor Society (NHS)
The NHS is accepting new members
Please see Mr. V. for an invitation
If you have a GPA of 3.75 or higher and you are not a member, you are encouraged to join

9. Earth Day! Earth Day will be celebrated on April 23rd
Please meet with Mrs. Mital in room 126 to sign up and pay $22.00 by March 25th to confirm a spot
Only 25 spots are available
This is on a first-come first-serve basis

10. G.A.M.E. Club
The GAME Club meetings are held on Thursdays from 3:30pm-5:00pm in room 328
Bring your own controllers

11. College tour to University of Georgia, Griffin Campus
If you are interested in going to the University of Georgia, Griffin Campus on March 26th, bring $25 for the field trip and pick up your permission slips from Dr. Sikinyi in room 410.

12. DHS Blood Drive The DHS Blood Drive will be held on March 27th
To donate, you must be 16 years old and have a picture ID with you at the time of your donation
See Ms. Hughes in room 822 if you have any questions

13. Class of 2021 Spirit Night
DHS Class of 2021 is having a Spirit Night at Starlite, McDonough location on March 29th from 7pm-10pm
This is open to all students
Come out and have Fun!

14. Cheer Squads Interest Meetings
If you are interested in trying out for the cheer squads, varsity competition and Junior Varsity, please attend a brief interest meeting on Thursday, March 28th after school in the media center
