9 Test Taking Types of test
Multiple Choice – Oh good it’s multiple choice, followed by….I hate multiple choice True False – What the Frick!!!! I hate my teacher 50/50 chance, and I am always 100% wrong Written – Oh great I failed forget it

10 Multiple Choice Zapping – Eliminate the obvious wrong answer
In every set of answers one does not make sense. Read the answer into the question this helps Some studying is vital here, it can create a clear choice and the elimination of three of the four READ CAREFULLY!!!!!!

11 True False Annotating – Key words like Never, Always, Ext. Simply underline those words as your read them. Find the words that automatically make it false. Always, Never, in every instance, ext. Some studying is required you can breeze through these if you do. READ CAREFULLY

12 Written Okay we all hate written let’s understand that. Teachers hate grading it, and students hate writing it. They are a must in your education so suck it up buttercup and do it! More is always better Fluff goes a long way, if you demonstrate knowledge of material you will do fine. READ THE QUESTION CAREFULLY

13 What style do you like/struggle with the most???

14 The 6 Pillars of Character
Character Counts so use it!

15 The Six Pillars of Character

16 Trustworthiness This Pillar always comes to light, no matter how hard one try’s to hide it. Doing what you are told all of the time Following the rules Follow through is key with this Pillar

17 Respect This Pillar is not given it is earned
Respect starts with how you treat people not how they treat you – MLK One needs to respect themselves before they can every truly respect someone else This Pillar is easily the second most important of the six because it encompasses so much

18 Responsibility This Pillar is the most important by far
If you can’t accept responsibility in every situation than you will fail in all other 5 Pillars It is one of the hardest because it forces a person to both admit they are wrong, and that they have biases that need to be addressed The corner stone to any successful relationship as well

19 Fairness The most misunderstood of the Six Pillars
This is not referring to everyone should have equal stuff, but equal opportunity Are you fairly judging a person or situation Are you fairly fixing a problem or situation

20 Caring Empathy is a tough thing to learn as a teen
Caring not just about ones feelings, but opinions, and points of views Knowing when to care for your own self, as well as others A caring person sometimes needs to chose honesty over one’s feelings a hard lesson to learn

21 Citizenship Taking care of your environment around you. Your classroom, school, etc. Keeping the area you both live, and work in clean and pleasant Doing the little things to help your immediate environment thrive School Spirit is a big example here Getting on others who don’t take care of the area is a big part of this Pillar as well

22 Let’s Talk about this in more detail!!!
