3 Two truths. One lie. 1. Mr. Brocato went hang-gliding.
2. Mr. Brocato has a pet iguana. 3. Mr. Brocato sold popsicles to pay his way through college.

4 Two truths. One lie. Silently raise your hand to indicate which number you think is false (1, 2 or 3)

5 Your turn! On a scrap sheet of paper, come up with two truths about yourself and one lie (Your lie should be something that could be true, or it is no fun. Ex: saying “I’m an alien” or “I’m 7 feet tall” … doesn’t really work)

6 Your turn! Listen as your peers read off their three statements. Then silently raise your hand to indicate which number you think is false (1, 2 or 3)

14 Homework: Due Monday Bring Syllabus and Parent Letter signed by parent/guardian Bring materials

15 Dismissal/End of the Period
Students should remain in their seats until dismissed by the teacher Ensure that the area around you is free of trash or materials Once you hear me say, “Have a nice day,” you have been dismissed and may exit the classroom. Once you have been dismissed by the teacher, make sure that your chair is in the correct position
