CHEMISTRY Chemistry uses linear algebra in many aspects of its computations. Linear algebra can be used to find out a chemicals volume from the given density. It can be used to balance a chemical equation so that in put = out put in order that nothing is mysteriously lost or gained. This part of chemistry would be a guessing game without linear algebra.

1ST. APPLICATION It takes three different materials A,B and C to produce a certain chemical. A,B and C have to be dissolved in water separately before they interact to form the chemical. Suppose that the solution containing A at 1.5 g/cm(cube) combined with the solution containing B at 3.6 g/cm(cube) and C at 5.3 g/cm(cube) makes g of the CHEMICAL. Similarly A,B,C at 2.5, 4.3, 2.4 g/cm(cube) form g of CHEMICAL.If proportions are 2.7, 5.5, 3.2 g/cm(cube) form g of CHEMICAL.

1ST. APPLICATION Then find What are the volumes (in cubic centimeteres) of the solutions containing A,B and C ?
