SAR–Student Aid Report Paper or electronic document that gives you some basic information about your eligibility for federal student aid and lists schools that will have access to your FAFSA file. College Financial Aid Award Letter Outlines: COA – Cost of Attendance EFC – Expected Family contribution Free Money – Scholarships and Grants Self- Help Aid Accept all scholarships from schools applied. Wait on accepting loans Once eligible – can go back and take out loan if needed. Continue to check for additional scholarships (time sensitive) Will be sent to college – forward to phone or main .

Gift Aid – “Free Money” Grants – Need Based Pell Grants Full or Partial Pell Grant $6,595 Full - EFC = 0 Scholarships – Merit Based College Scholarships BSU – Must be fully admitted to receive application. NIC – Must be admitted to access. LCSC – March 1st Deadline olarships-and-waivers/ online-general-scholarship-application U of I – No separate application. Local Scholarships Separate Application Due April 15th. Self – Help Aid Loans – FEDERAL Lower Interest Rate No need to repay until graduating or dropping below half-time.
