2. Basic Rules Always wear goggles
Wear closed toe shoes, pull long hair back, no loosely fitted clothing, or scarves and things that can hang across your workbench
Immediately notify teacher of spills or broken glass. Do not attempt to clean it up yourself unless instructed to do so
Know where fire extinguisher and emergency shower are located
Immediately clean spills
Discard broken glass in proper disposal can

3. Rules, Rules, Rules! Do NOT perform any experiment without permission
Do not wear contact lenses in the lab
NO EATING OR DRINKING
Know what you are doing in the experiment BEFORE you come to lab
Immediately flush skin or eyes if in contact with any chemicals

5. Fire Extinguisher Use Remember to when sweeping to sweep horizontally
Use sand provided in lab for any grease fires instead of fire extinguisher
