2 Introduction The Pressure Monitor Transducer (PN ) can leak if it is not handled or installed correctly. This has been seen on both the i2000 & i2000SR ARCHITECT models. If the part is incorrectly handled or installed, the leaks are identified during a system flush. If the flex tab on the circuit housing is not seated properly, leakage will occur. This most often happens: During a new install power up sequence, or Immediately following a part replacement AQI DIV Ed. 001

3 Objectives After reviewing this material you should be able to:
Identify the individual components of the Pressure Monitor Transducer (PN ) Know how to handle the part to avoid damage. Recognize when this part is properly installed. AQI DIV Ed. 001

5 Properly Seated Flex Tab
The Flex Tab in the photo to the left is not seated correctly in the circuit housing. It was dislodged by pushing on the circuit housing during installation, which could result in a leak. The photo on the right shows properly seated and sealed flex tabs on each side of the circuit housing, preventing leakage. Properly Seated Flex Tab Unseated Flex Tab Incorrect seating of the Flex Tab Correct seating of the Flex Tab AQI DIV Ed. 001
