If you have a logo in a fun font, make sure its only your logo (Makes it distinct)
Don’t mix and match fonts or choose one that will “stick out”
That makes it difficult to read and may lose your audiences interest

4. #3 Infinite Scrolls
Many blogging websites use this (Tumblr, Pinterest, We Heart It)
This makes it hard for people to find information in your footer (Contact info, shipping rates, etc.)

5. #4 Parallax Websites
the website layout sees the background of the web page moving at a slower rate to the foreground, creating a 3D effect as you scroll
One long page instead of multiple smaller pages
Too much content can make this drag on

6. #5 simplistic over different
Don’t try to reinvent the wheel
Keep it clean and easy to navigate
Having an easy to look at/use website is better than a complicated one.

7. #6 Distracting Backgrounds
You want attention on the content, not the background
Keep it simple yet elegant

8. Recap Make your own pics (show off your own style and skillz)
Keep one unified font throughout
Careful how you implement scrolling! (how much content is there to get through?)
Don’t get too overambitious with your overall design! Simple is better!
Make sure everything is easy on the eyes!
