When to visit

What to Pack
You can breathe easier knowing that the atmosphere is nearly 20%. The only place you'll need an air tank is under the clear blue sea, which covers a majestic two thirds of the planet's surface! Jackets are optional. Even though greenhouse gases make up less than 1% of the atmosphere, they trap enough heat to make the planet's average surface temperature a balmy 55°F. For travelers booking a package to he polar regions, don't forget a jacket because the Sun's rays are less intense when they hit at angles far from 90°.
Earth's atmosphere blocks most of the harmful ultraviolet and cosmic rays so that energy at the surface is mostly visible light. That means you'll need sunglasses and sunscreen, but leave the heavy space suit at home. The atmospheric pressure is perfect so you won't spontaneously explode in the vacuum of space or be crushed under the weight of a thick atmosphere!
