2. Brief account of meeting
Enlarged advisory board with input on enlarged UEMS council of representatives from sections Group I (medical), Group II (Surgical), Group III (Other, eg radiology, oncology). Background to this.

4 Main topics for UEMS meeting:
2018 will be 60th anniversary of EMS
ETR’s encouraged from specialties who have not yet produced them
Increased cooperation with Specialist Societies (who were invited for a joint meeting on 19th October)
Upgrading of EACCME system from 2.0 to 3.0

3. Head and Neck
Maxillofacial President wanted to set up a Multidisciplinary Joint Committee on Head and Neck (all benign and malignant conditions)
Meeting held on 20th October in Brussels
Attended by ORL (Ulrik Pedersen and Adrian Agius), maxillofacial, Plastics, radiology, UEMS Central President and General Secretary.
Working group set up, not an MJC (MJC power to issue guidelines)
Aims are to discuss cooperation in trauma, oncology, possibly some congenital conditions such as cleft palate
Minutes reached version 7 after multiple negotiations on wording
