-explore their own belief systems regarding students and learning. -be able to show an understanding of the structure of MTI in the Roseburg School District. -implement the necessary elements of RTI in determining LD eligibility for students. 2

9 District Goals -increase the percentage of special education students meeting the benchmarks in reading, math and writing. RTI sub goal -100% of elementary referrals for LD eligibility in reading will be completed using RTI Strategy- Teaming (Benchmark, GrIP, Grade Level Meetings, Individual Student Meetings, PLCs) 9

10 Four Critical Questions of Learning
What is it we expect all students to learn? How will we know if they’ve learned it? How will we respond when some students don’t learn it? How will we respond when they already know? The Critical Questions of Teaching and Learning are the heart of what we do and ties RtII, PLC’s and Differentiation together. 10
