We have also touched on the topic in Reading with the American Revolution so this should be an easy test! Reading: Our focus this week will be on main idea. We have touched on it during the first quarter but will continue to practice this skill throughout the year. This Thursday we will have our usual cold- reading/writing and spelling test. Spelling: We are staying on unit 9 this week again, searching for and using words with the “oy/ow” sound that are spelled with oi, oy, ou and ow. It is a difficult spell/sound pattern, but they should be ready by Thursday to test on these words.
