4 Key monitor functions MR-002
SIL 2 Certified Alarms The monitor shall have two SIL 2 Alarms (1 high and 1 fail alarm). The ‘high’ alarm is triggered when the ambient radiation level exceeds the preset threshold. The ‘fail’ alarm is set when the count-rate falls below the preset level for the detector (detector in failure).  Each relay contains: three sets of contacts, two 2 pole change-over a one single pole N/O contact set. NB: The relays operate in the fail-safe mode; energised during normal operations and shall be SIL 2 compliant. MR-004 Monitor Visual Alarms. A visual indication is provided in the form of a red LED for monitor failure and alarm. Failure indications include mains failure, and monitor failure. The type of failure shall also be displayed on the LCD screen. The monitor shall provide attention, alert and alarm visual indications for the portion of the Interlock SIL monitor via red and green LEDs located on the front panel.

5 Key monitor functions MR-005
The monitor shall provide attention, alert and alarm audio and visual indications on the monitor via red and green LEDs located on the front panel and a sounder 100dB maximum (the sounder can be a standalone device which can interface with the monitor) MR-009 The monitor shall update the measured values at a configurable rate with a minimum rate of 10 seconds and adjustable in steps of, at a minimum of 1 second.   MR-011 Detector Interface. Universal detector interface (UDI-1G) Provides a high performance interface between detector and measurement system The output stage is designed to drive long cables reliably Maximum probe separation is 100m (330ft) directly from the UDI and >1100m (3600ft) with external power unit MR-012 Self Test. The monitor shall continuously self monitor for faults. Checks shall include: Detector failure Power failure Detector over range

6 Key monitor functions MR-013 Data Storage.
The monitor shall have the capability to: Provide non-volatile data capability for a minimum of 7 days count history at a minimum 5 minute data log intervals with a historical review on the LCD display. Non-volatile data capability for event history (last 100 events) Non-volatile storage for operating parameters
