2 What makes Open Scholarship work for Arts and Humanities communities?
Open Science works best... ...when it reflects community practices and needs ...when it tackles diversity ...when it achieves the transition from the closed and silo-based approaches towards more open and networked scholarship What we see is that it’s closer to their research desk than one may think. rootted, persective in both cultures. Strong voice – how to best use this power ?What are aour unique contrubutions?

3 : a European research infrastructure consortium by researchers for researchers
Mission: to empower Arts and Humanities research communities with digital methods to create, connect and share knowledge about culture and society. 17 member coutries Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovenia and 11 cooperating partners Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Finland, Hungary, Israel, Norway,Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom @DARIAHeu

4 How DARIAH advances Open Scholarsip in the Humanities?
We need solutions to “develop an environment that is technically flexible enough to allow for the integration of heterogeneous material and that is social enough to allow researcher crowds to discover and analyse their material and make new connections.” (Blanke et al. 2015:11)

5 We share... …knowledge to create new connections and insight, through networking, training and projects …tools to promote the work of others with similar research questions …data to allow new projects to start from a higher baseline …networks to build key relationships and seek funding …a voice to be heard in European and national policy debates
