2 Lubricant's temperature
GTR2 Part-B3 3.6 Lubricant's temperature Vehicle A Curb weight: 136kg Engine capacity: 149mL Maximum speed: 95km/h Maximum power: 8.3kW Maximum torque:11.4N·m Catalyst's temperature (100mm in front of the catalyst)

3 GTR2 Part-B3 3.6 Vehicle B Lubricant's temperature Curb weight: 117kg
Engine capacity: 124mL Maximum speed: 85km/h Maximum power: 8.0kW Maximum torque:8.4N·m Lubricant's temperature Catalyst's temperature (100mm in front of the catalyst)

4 GTR2 Part-B3 3.6 Conclusion:
The correlation between lubricant and catalyst‘s temperature are investigated in two vehicles. According to the results of the two vehicles, we can find that: 1. When the vehicle is running the WMTC, the Catalyst's temperature has risen to 300 ℃ before the Lubricant's temperature reach to 70 ℃, which make sure the catalyst activated. That means the vehicle has finished warm-up when the Lubricant's temperature raised to 70 ℃.So we suggest that‘If technical documents have not specific requirements, the engine shall be warmed up until all coolant or lubricant temperatures have reached at least 70 ℃’. 2. After 600 seconds of running, the Catalyst's temperature became over 300 ℃. At the moment, the catalyst has been activated. As the real road driving under normal road conditions is similar with WMTC, so we suggest that ‘motorcycles should be driven at least 600s under normal road conditions’.
