Have used PEEL to construct your own critical essay paragraphs. Understood how to link your paragraph to the question asked.

4 PRINTS Purpose – critical writing practise
Resources – A3 sheets/pens/paper/poem In/Out – working in groups Noise – quiet group discussion Time – 20 minutes Success – completed paragraph to share.

5 PEEL Point Evidence (Quote) Explain Link to Question.

6 The task – 20 minutes to complete.
Working in three groups you will be assigned a quote from the poem. It is written in the centre of your sheet. Then take each part of PEEL and write it around the quote. (see board) Once completed you will all writ up your PEEL paragraph. These will then be shared around each group.

7 Learning Review By the end of this lesson you will:
Have constructed your own PEEL paragraphs. Understood how to link that back to the question being asked.
