An injection through a catheter placed in the superior vena cava–right pulmonary artery (RPA) junction shows simultaneous visualization of contrast in the right pulmonary artery as well as the pulmonary veins. There is a diffuse reticular pattern of the vasculature and an absent capillary phase. Selective left pulmonary arteriogram showed a similar appearance in the left lung.
