Review the clauses in each sentence and identify each sentence as simple, compound, complex, or compound-complex.
Label each sentence with “S” for simple, “CD” for compound, “CX” for complex, or “CC” for compound-complex.

5. Review
Once corrected, review your Compare/Contrast Essay. The ratio should be close to the ideal ratio of 3:2:2:1 (S:CD:CX:CC).
If it is not, revise sentences to get your ratio closer to the ideal ratio.
Once revised, title your essay as Compare/Contrast Essay Final Draft and turn in to turnitin.com or bring a digital copy to class on 10/28.
