2 GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT - INDIA
Language : Hindi & English are the official language in India. Time Zones : India operates on a standard time zone of GMT+ 5 ½ hours. Weights and Measures system : India uses the metric system of weights and measures. International Dialing Code for India is +91

5 TRAVEL VISA AND CUSTOMS
A valid passport with minimum six months remaining validity is requested for all visitors coming to India. Participants are responsible for obtaining their own entry visas to enter India. Necessity for obtaining an Indian entry visa depends on applicant’s nationality, type of passport etc. For those who are uncertain whether they will need a visa, please contact their respective Embassy/High Commission or Consulate General of India.

6 ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE Participants are advised to arrive by 20th Feb and exercise shall culminate at 1500 hrs. on 24th Feb Participants are requested to plan their departure accordingly. It is suggested that all participants arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI), New Delhi, India.

7 TRANSPORT From IGI Airport : All teams are requested to arrange their own conveyance for pick and drop from airport to place of stay and vice versa. During the Exercise : The transport facility shall be extended to all the delegates from their place of stay to the venue of the exercise by the host. One liaison Officer will be assigned to delegation of each country.

8 ACCOMMODATION All participants are responsible for all costs incurred during their stay. The venue of the exercise (PBK) is centrally located and hotels with good facilities located in the vicinity. Participants are advised to book their accommodation near to the venue of the Exercise.

10 REGISTRATION Participants are requested to submit their registration form along with copy of first and last page of passport at - on or before 25th Jan 2019.

12 MEALS Lunch and refreshment/coffee break will be provided throughout the official programme at designated venues. Special dietary requirement, if any, may be mentioned in the registration form. Bara Khana will be organized on 23rd Feb 2019 at 1900 hrs, the attire will be casual. Welcome Dinner will be hosted by Govt of India on 21st Feb 2019 at 1900 hrs, the attire will be smart casual.

13 DRESS CODE The dress code for the entire duration of the exercise is uniform/smart casual.

14 HEALTH & WELL-BEING HEALTH STATUS:- Declare health status in order to seek immediate treatment. MEDICATION:- Advised to bring your own medication like (a) Hypertension (b) Diabetes (c) Others. INSURANCE:- Recommended that, delegates to have their own travel and medical insurance. SMOKING ZONE:- Designated smoking zone shall be available at exercise venue. MEDICAL CARE AT EXERCISE VENUE:- Facility for medical care at the venue will be available for out of the hospital care.

15 LANGUAGE Exercise will be conducted in English language, however interpreter for official languages of SCO shall be provided.
