2 Agenda Tenancy Search Tenancy Panels Request Transfer

3 Tenancy Search From the Quick Menu, select Tenancy Search. You can also select tenancies directly from the Development Blocks/Units panel.

4 Tenancy Search Search Criteria
The Tenancy Search panel will be displayed. Enter search criteria, then select Search.

5 Tenancy Search Search Results
Search results will be displayed. Select the desired tenancy.

6 Tenancy Summary Panel The Tenancy Summary panel will be displayed.
Empty Nesters display next to “Acceptable” If you request transfer for Empty Nester, the buildings that you can transfer to are dependent on the age.

7 Tenancy Household Panel
The Household panel contains information about each household member.

8 Tenancy Modify HH Composition
To create, remove, re-add, or edit a household member, select Modify HH Composition. You cannot remove the primary tenant.

9 Tenancy Modify HH Composition – Add HH Member
Select Create New Member to add a household member. The same dialog box is used for create, remove, re-add, and edit.

10 Tenancy Modify HH Composition – Remove HH Member
Select Remove to remove a household member. Previously-removed members appear, with an Add link, in the lower half of the screen.

11 Tenancy Modify HH Composition – Re-add/Edit HH Member
Select Add to re-add a previously-removed household member. Select Edit to edit a household member’s information.

12 Tenancy Contacts Contacts can include phone numbers and addresses.

13 Tenancy Health The Health panel is new to Housing Connections and contains health and mobility information. The Health panel is new to HC. It is identical to the Health panel on the Applicant side.

14 Tenancy Health – Add Consequence
Select Add Consequence to identify consequences for the health condition or disability. Once selections are made in the dialog, the “Add Consequence” link will change to partially display the reasons. This is to make it easy to identify which conditions have consequences attached.

15 Request Transfer Step 1 Dialog
To request a transfer, select Request Transfer to open the Request Transfer dialog. Request Transfer link is available on all Tenancy panels.

16 Request Transfer a. Complete transfer application received
If a complete transfer application has been received, select the household members who will transfer.

17 Request Transfer a. Complete transfer application received
After selecting the household members, clicking Finish will generate a pending Transfer application.

18 Request Transfer a. Complete transfer application received
Complete each panel of the transfer. Some panels will be populated with tenancy information. Note that some of the panels will be read-only. Example of read-only information: income information for existing tenants.

19 Request Transfer a. Complete transfer application received
If the transfer is an Empty Nester, Empty Nester will be indicated next to the Transfer field. Empty Nesters will show as Empty Nester next to the Transfer field.

20 Request Transfer a. Complete transfer application received
Select the Points Details panel and assign the transfer type. Medical Need and Social Conflict can be classed as either normal or urgent.

21 Request Transfer a. Complete transfer application received
Select the Category Details panel and verify Category. Add supporting comments as necessary. You cannot manually reassign a category for a transfer reason as it is controlled by the transfer reason.

22 Request Transfer a. Complete transfer application received
Select the Checklist panel and make the transfer application Live. Warning messages will appear if any errors exist in the file.

23 Request Transfer b. Send transfer application to tenant
To send a transfer application to the tenant, select Request Transfer to open the Request Transfer dialog. Specify zone number(s).

24 Request Transfer c. Send transfer application to society
To send a transfer application to the society, select Request Transfer to open the Request Transfer dialog. Zone numbers are not required. Zone numbers are not required.

25 Request Transfer d. Transfer to a new unit – Step 1
To transfer the tenant to a new unit within the same development, select Request Transfer to open the Request Transfer dialog.

26 Request Transfer d. Transfer to a new unit – Step 2
Select the household members and specify their relationship to the primary tenant.

27 Request Transfer d. Transfer to a new unit – Step 3
Select effective date of transfer and transfer-to-unit. Specify when tenant’s current unit will be available. If you know the exact date that the current unit will be avaialble, select Exactly.

28 Request Transfer d. Transfer to a new unit – Step 3
Select effective date of transfer and transfer-to-unit. Specify when tenant’s current unit will be available. If you have an approximate date that the current unit will be available, select Approximately. Enter the approximate date and select a reason from the drop-down list.

Select effective date of transfer and transfer-to-unit. Specify when tenant’s current unit will be available. Click Finish when done. If you have an approximate date that the current unit will be available, select Approximately. Enter the approximate date and select a reason from the drop-down list. Once you are done, click Finish to navigate to the new Tenancy.
