1 MOBILE ACCESS & PDS CONNECTS

2 WHAT IS MOBILE ACCESS? Mobile Access is an online site that allows only your Staff to view Family and Personnel information You must have usernames and passwords set up in Church Office and you must assign permissions for your users to access this site You will need to Sync with Mobile Access to log in and see your information. In Church Office we will go under File>Data Sync>Mobile Access

4 HOW TO ACCESS THE SITE After you click on How to Access Mobile Data you will see this screen This screen will show you YOUR information for the Organization ID. It will show MOBILE-(your site number) You will log into the parish.mobi site, enter in your information along with your username and password and you are ready to use the Mobile Access site

7 WHAT IS PDS CONNECTS? Access your database online for your staff and Parishioners All users must have a username and password to log in Information added in Church Office can be uploaded to the database and changes made online by Parishioners can be imported into the Church Office program

8 START PDS CONNECTS PROCESS
We start under File>Data Synchronization> Sync with PDS connects

9 SET UP THE PDS CONNECTS INFORMATION
First you must have an account set up. This can be done with the Sync to PDS connects screen or by calling Sales at Once you have the account you will be able to upload your database to PDS Connects

10 UPLOADING DATA TO PDS CONNECTS
Get Contributions made online (you will not use this for the 1st upload you do) Get updated Data from PDS Connects (this also isn’t necessary the 1st time as no changes have been made) Upload Pictures to PDS Connects (this step can take extra time-you don’t need to do it each time) Upload Fund Information-You will select the activities you want to show on PDS Connects

11 SELECT FAMILIES TO UPLOAD
Here you can choose which families to upload. Whichever option you select here must be the same option each time you upload Notice the Warning in RED? Each time you upload to PDS connects it replaces the online data that is already there

12 SELECT FUND ACTIVITIES TO UPLOAD
The next screen is the Fund Activities to Upload You can select what to show in PDS connects and the Admin also has rights to change this screen as well You will also select which Member Type can view the contributions (Remember each time you upload to select the same options) You can remove all online contribution information by not selecting any options from this screen

13 FINAL STEPS IN UPLOAD PROCESS
Click on the Finish Button Click the Start Transfer Button

14 FIELDS THAT ARE UPLOADED
Family Fields are: Family name Date Registered Street Address 1 and 2 City/State/Zip Phone Number Picture (if you choose to upload these) Family Other Addresses are: Mailing Address 1 and 2 Mailing City/State/Zip Alternate Address 1 and 2 Alternate City/State/Zip Member Fields are: Member name/Type Gender/Date of Birth/Grade/Degree Marital Status/Location Any user define keywords Member Picture (if you selected this item) Phones/ s/Sacramental Dates Contribution Fields If you selected to upload the Fund Activities, the Fields upload from the History screen of the Contributions Rates/History/Keywords window are: Date/Activity/Amount/Check Number/Comments

15 ADMIN SCREEN IN PDS CONNECTS
As an Admin you have several options once logged into PDS Connects You will want to go under the Admin tab for links to send to your Parishioners

16 Under Admin, select Options
Under the Web Links tab you will see General These are all the different links you can out or post to your website for your Parishioners to sign into PDS Connects

17 MEMBER LOG IN Your Parishioners are now ready to log into PDS Connects at: Your Members will need an set up in the program to access this screen Once your Parishioners visit this site they will then click Need a login? (for the 1st time) Next they will enter in their address that is in the PDS Program (they must have an address to use PDS Connects)

18 PDS CONNECTS SCREENS FOR MEMBERS
Once your Parishioners are set up with their password they are able to log in and see their profile, Giving if that is an option you have set up, and Groups. Groups are not connected in Church Office but are available for PDS Connects members to use as a way of communication for any groups.

19 MEMBER PROFILE INFORMATION
Under their profile, members can make changes under the Edit button or any section that has a pencil. Once a change is made you will then see a red note stating that a Change Request is pending. They will see this note until it is accepted by the Church Office Program. The Edit button allows for more changes to be made to include s, phones, and addresses as well

20 GIVING WITHIN PDS CONNECTS
You can also set up Giving for PDS connects which is how you import in the contributions. You must have an online Merchant account setup and funds uploaded to PDS connects to accept the online giving

21 GROUPS IN PDS CONNECTS You can set up Groups within PDS Connects.
This does not sync with the Church Office Program You can make labels for this group, send messages, print the group list and see the address, phone, and s for the members

22 SYNC WITH PDS CONNECTS When you Sync with PDS connects-you choose the option to post contributions online When Parishioners give online with PDS connects you will see that information on this screen
