Introductory Paragraph (Hook, BK, Thesis) II. Claims Paragraph A. Sentence stating your position with reason why B. Sentence of evidence from the text to support your position. C. Sentence in your own words that explains how the evidence backs up your position. Give another B (evidence) and C (back it up) D. Sentence where you restate your position and reason why. (use different wording so it doesn’t sound elementary)

III. Counterargument Paragraph A. Sentence stating the opposing view (what other side is trying to prove or believes) B. Sentence of evidence that the opposing side will probably use to make their point strong C. Sentence refuting evidence why the opposing side is not correct D. Sentence strongly stating that the opposing view is unfounded. IV. Concluding Paragraph - Summarize your main points of your position and how it will improve the situation or make a difference
