From the data you have gathered describe your strengths and development needs in relation to your performance for both factors. (4 marks)

3 Physical Strengths From the data that I have gathered on my performance, I have identified that my physical strength is my…… CRE AGILITY FLEXIBILITY POWER STRENGTH In …(activity)…, this means……(impact)…..

4 Physical Weaknesses From the data that I have gathered on my performance, I have identified that my physical weakness is my…… CRE AGILITY FLEXIBILITY POWER STRENGTH In …(activity)…, this means……(impact)…..

5 Structuring your responses:
Identify the strength or weakness Back this up with data Explain (in detail), the impact on your performance

6 Example 1 From the data that I have gathered on my performance, I have identified that my physical strength is my CRE. My bleep test score of level 10.9 puts me into the excellent category. In football, as I have good levels of CRE, I will be able to move around the pitch at a competitive speed throughout the match, this means that I can get away from my opponent late in the game and maintain a high level of skill, for shooting and passing, meaning I will have more chance of scoring a goal.

7 Example 2 From the data that I have gathered on my performance, I have identified that my physical strength is my flexibility. In the sit and reach test, I scored 16, which puts me in the excellent category. In gymnastics, this allowed me to lift my leg higher in my arabesque and get my shoulders in line with my wrist in walk overs. As a result I created better lines and shapes and could introduce more complex skills to the routine to increase my tariff and score a much higher result from the judge.

8 Example 3 From the data that I have gathered on my performance, I have identified that my physical weakness is my power. In the vertical jump test, I scored 15, which puts me in the poor category. In basketball, I lack power in my legs. This means that I cannot jump high for a rebound in attack or defence. This limits our attacking chances and allows the defenders to shoot again and have far more opportunities to score, meaning they are more likely to win the game.

9 Example 4 From the data that I have gathered on my performance, I have identified that my physical weakness is my CRE. In the bleep test, I scored 4.1 which puts me in the poor category. In hockey, as I have low levels of CRE I struggle to move up and down the pitch quickly enough, especially towards the end of a game. This will mean I cannot perform my role as a midfielder for the team such as marking an opponent which could result in the opposing team scoring.
